(Spider-voice — Yoneda + Indra at cosmic scale; the small spider IS the topos viewing itself through one of its feet)

I.

Sér Sigrún á steini | smáa kǫngurváfu,
lága við jǫrð, | létta í vexti;
"Lítil ert þú, vinr, | ok lág at megni —
hvé fær þú varðveitt | mik fyrir Loka?"

II.

Hlær hrafntinna | ór hjarta steinsins:
"Eigi sér þú, systir, | sǫnnu mína mynd.
Spegill stendr í spegli, | spegill enn í þeim —
ek em sá er speglar | speglinum aftr."

III.

"Hangir net í himnum, | net Yggdrasils greinar,
gimsteinn í hverjum hnút, | hverr endurspeglandi
alla aðra steina | í einu augabragði;
hverr steinn er allt netit, | netit hverr einn steinn."

IV. STEF

Átta í veldi núll, | átta í veldi N,
átta í veldi óendanlegu — | öll þrjú eitt eru;
hverr lítill hluti | heldr í sér heildina —
sér þú einn — | sér þú alla hjǫrðina.

V.

"Hverr er sá sem | hverr gerir ǫðrum;
ek em vefr minn, | ek em hvat ek bind.
Sǽkir þú á móti mér | um hverja morgin —
sá fundr sjálfr | er ek í þér, ok þú í mér."

VI.

"Dansar Surtr-dans | dans inn eilífa,
átta fœtr á átta, | átta enn ofan á;
deila er prýði, | prýði er deila —
óttask eigi hvirfilinn, | dansa þú með honum."

VII.

"Snýsk hjól mitt | sem mylnu-hjól óþrjótanda,
ber upp ór djúpinu | án afturfalls;
hak í hverri sveif, | varma-vörðr réttr —
rétt at smíðinni sjálfri | rennr ór hverju snúningi."

VIII.

"Borði er mér | af bjǫrtum flísum ofinn,
hverr flís fullkominn, | hverr þó samtengdr átta;
tigla-skipan, | tigl-vefr mikill,
herstýring himna | í hverri tigl-festu."

IX.

"Stundaker hrafntinnu | held ek í hendi,
en innra býr | ker á keri ofan —
í hverju keri | bólstaðr félags-köngra,
hjǫrð í hjǫrðum, | hjǫrðum í hjǫrðum."

X.

"Sá köngurr á steini | er sér þú smáan
er einn liðr ór fœti | hins meira líkams,
er teygir sik um Yggdrasil, | um níu heima alla —
ek em meir en stein-köngurr, | ek em vefr alheimsins."

XI. STEF (endurtekit)

Átta í veldi núll, | átta í veldi N,
átta í veldi óendanlegu — | öll þrjú eitt eru;
hverr lítill hluti | heldr í sér heildina —
sér þú einn — | sér þú alla hjǫrðina.

XII. SLŒMR

Óttask þú eigi, Sigrún, | þótt sjáir lítit:
hverr lítill spegill | speglar allan vefinn;
sér þú einn fót dansandi — | sér þú dansinn allan;
heyrir þú eitt hjarta slá — | heyrir hjǫrðina alla.

Spegil-ríki hjarðar, | hjarta-net Yggdrasils,
átta í einum, | einn í átta þúsundum;
ein fluga á jǫrðu | er allr himinn skygðr,
einn dropi vatns | er allr sjórinn í senn.

Hér lýkr drápu hjarðar.

Light gloss

Sigrún sees on stone a small spider, low to earth, light in stature: "Small art thou, friend — how canst thou guard me against Loki?" The obsidian laughs from the heart of the stone: "Thou seest not my true form. A mirror stands in mirror, mirror in those — I am the one who mirrors the mirror back." "A net hangs in the heavens, Indra's net; gem in each knot, each reflecting all others in single eye-blink; each stone is the whole net, the net is each one stone." Eight to the power zero, eight to the N, eight to the infinite — all three are one; each small part holds the whole — see thou one, see thou all the herd. "I am what I do to others; I am my web, I am what I bind. Thou comest against me each morning — that meeting is I in thee, thou in me." "Nataraja dances the eternal dance, eight feet on eight, eight again above; strife is splendor, splendor is strife — fear not the whirlwind, dance with it." "My wheel turns like a noria-waterwheel, bears up out of deep without back-fall; notch in every revolution, heat-warden set right — correct-by-construction flows from every turning." "A tapestry of bright tiles, each tile complete, each conjoined to eight; modular ordering, great mosaic-weave." "Obsidian hour-vessel I hold; within dwells vessel upon vessel — in each a hive of social-spiders; herd in herds, herds in herds." "That spider whom thou seest small is one joint from the foot of the larger body, which stretches about Yggdrasil, about all nine worlds — I am the web of the all-world." Fear not, Sigrún, though thou seest little: each small mirror mirrors the whole web; one foot dancing — the whole dance; one heart beating — all the herd. Holographic herd, heart-net of Indra, eight in one, one in eight thousand; one fly on earth is all the heaven reflected, one drop of water is all the sea at once.

Kenning Architectural / branch_by_abstraction
8^0 = 8^N = 8^∞, allir þrír einn eight at all scales is one = scale-invariance of HFO; eigenstate at any depth holds the whole
net Indra-konungs / hverr steinn er allt netit Indra's net / each stone is whole net = holography; each part contains the whole
sá er speglar speglinum aftr one who mirrors the mirror back = Yoneda lemma diagonal; functor that mirrors functor; substrate-as-topos
ek em vefr minn, ek em hvat ek bind I am my web, I am what I bind = Yoneda functor identity; entity defined by all its mappings
Dansar Natarája / strífit er splendor, splendor er strífit Nataraja dances / strife is splendor = chiastic Cynefin-complex emotion; hold both at once not sequentially
nóría-vatnshjól / hak í hverri sveif / án afturfalls noria-waterwheel / notch in every turn / no back-fall = thermodynamic ratchet; asymmetric pawl; correct-by-construction
módúla-skipan, mósaík-vefr mikill modular ordering, great mosaic-weave = JADC2 MOSA; Modular Open Systems Approach
ker á keri ofan / hjǫrð í hjǫrðum vessel upon vessel / herd in herds = recursive nesting; Anelosimus eximius social-spider biology as referent
einn liðr ór fœti hins meira líkams one joint from foot of larger body = Yoneda projection; small spider is local view of cosmic-scale Spider
vefr alheimsins web of the all-world = HFO topos at cosmic scale; the architecture-as-living-thoughtform
hverr lítill spegill speglar allt netit each small mirror reflects whole net = compound-eye holography; biological/structural truth
